Here's to Friends!

A good friend once told me about a Bible verse that meant a lot to him. John 3:30 says "He must become greater. I must become less." This passage has since then, stuck in my mind as my kids have grown into young adults. I cling to it today as my hope for Michelle and Sean. As they leave the nest of the family homes, and strike out to begin their own new home, I pray that the Lord's guidance will become an even greater influence in their lives. I know it will still be okay for them to call home and ask for input from time to time, but the main influence should come from God. It is with this confidence in their Christian upbringing and the two loving households that set them free this week that they will succeed. May God increase in their lives Thanks to friends who share exactly what we need to hear.
