A giant great big thank you to all who helped us raise money for Cheryl's Rescue Ranch this past Friday. Despite the giant iceberg in the parking lot, many people managed to stop in and support a very worthy cause. Wendy C. has devoted her life to rescuing farm animals who have been lost, abandoned or mistreated or not cared for. Owning farm type animals is not for most people. Those cute little baby goats, lambs and ducklings grow up to be livestock before you know it. These adorable babies need space to grow and a suitable outdoor environment in order to grow up healthy. Owners of these types of animals know that vacations are next to impossible to plan, and the animal needs to be fed and cleaned up after even during a blizzard! Cheryl's Rescue Ranch,(named after Wendy's dog)fullfills a need in this county by taking in later unwanted farm animals. So, please consider two things. Donating whatever you can spare to show your love for the animals. And also, admire and ooh and ahh over those cute spring time baby animals. But please don't take one home unless you know what you are getting into! For more information visit
