April 2010 Covenant Cottage 410-923-3324
865 Annapolis Rd
Gambrills, MD 21054

Hello Friends,

A truly fun annual event will be happening right here, Saturday, April 17 from 9 - 4 pm. I am referring to the Country Feed and Garden & Covenant Cottage Annual Spring Festival! If you have stopped by in past years, you will remember the fun and neighborly good times provided. We will serve lunch (reasonably priced) snacks and drinks. Covenant Cottage will have samples of some of the delicious products that we sell. Great sale prices on merchandise, too. A new cookbook author will be on site to sign and sell copies of her cookbook. In short, come for fun, food, sales, visit with animals, and other activities. Good clean down home fun! See you on Saturday

Charlette and I want to thank you again for coming to the Tea Party in March. Your support was so encouraging and we are looking forward to planning the next Sunday Afternoon Tea!

And, I also want to thank you for the huge response to my Easter Gift Baskets this year. It was so much fun to put them together for you. Mother's Day is right around the corner and I will have some special baskets for Moms or Grandmothers too. Contact me if you wish to pre-order a certain style of basket.

In closing, we are so grateful for each and everyone of you. Please continue to let us know how we can make your shopping experience memorable! If you like the store, please tell your friends. We know word of mouth is the best advertising out there.

From all of us at Covenant Cottage,

Janet

ps we now have a second website up and running! We are proud to announce the unveiling of www.shopcovenantcottage.com On this site you can purchase some of the products and see detailed photos of others. While it is now totally functional, we are still adding and updating it daily so check back often and please let us know what you think!

Snapshots of what's new, newsworthy and upcoming

New Products:

Summerbridge Tea company- fine selection of loose tea and tea necessitites- Stop in and try the staff favorite- Coconut green tea.

Little Logs Building Kits- I can barely contain the kid in me when I think about this new product. Remember Lincoln Logs? Well the Little Logs are life size building logs. They are light weight and varnished with a safe coating (not pressure treated). Let the kids in your life build their own cabin or fort and then take it down and build something else! Great family toy or pre-school or daycare activity.

Homestead Lamps- Beautiful additions to your home decor. Also new handpainted Room Dividers. These are just amazing additions to any home

Beanpod Candles - Spring and summer scents are now in stock. Try the new Reed Diffusers from beanpod. our favorite new scent this year - Strawberry Cream and Herb Garden. Sorry I could not choose just one!

Craft Classes:

Knitting Class will begin again in May. Shelly Still will be teaching a Saturday class beginning May 8th.
Please call the store for more details. We hope to incorporate beginner knitting projects with a class suitable for those with some knitting experience too. Cost will be $30 for 3 sessions.

New yarn in the yarn section, new gifts, new fun accessories (scarves and jewelry) and so much more. All this in addition to our ongoing activities adds up to a bright and cheery spring at Covenant Cottage! Come on out and join the fun. There's something for everyone at the Cottage
