Love For Friends

Welcome to the new month and a brand new work week.  Starting off with a gorgeous day which I understand will not carry forth into tomorrow.  So I will soak up all the sun I can today.  Today I keep dwelling on Proverbs 17:17.  A Friend loves at all times.  My friends are on my mind this week, as I hope to return some of the beautiful acts of friendship that have been a blessing in my life.  Christian believers often tell each other that they are praying for them. To me there is no greater comfort, than knowing someone is taking the time to talk to God about my problem.  I try hard to not make this a stock, cliche response to someone's trials but to actually make a point to pray to Our Father.  It would be so easy, when a stranger or casual acquaintance shares a trouble to give them this stock response.  But this week, my heart is actually troubled for a few friends.  I am sharing their pain, in a physical sense.   I cannot stop praying.  So, friends, that is the focus of my week.   A friend loves at all times, and prays as if it is his own life he is praying about.
