Cannedy Corn - A very corny project

No Fail Canning for Corn and Pumpkins!    Expertise Level- Beginner
 Suitable for all ages

This has got to be the easiest canning project ever.  Delicious fall veggies canned up in no time.  Here are the steps to yummy canned corn and mixed fall veggies.
Take a few clean half pint jars.  No need to sterilize the jars  for this recipe.

Add you favorite packaged fall candy.  My choices were corn and mixed corn and pumpkins.  I used 6 ounce bags and each bag filled a half pint canning jar.

Cover the lid of the canning jar with a decorative cupcake liner.  I saw the idea for adding the cupcake liner on Pinterest, and let me tell you, it really adds a dash of fun to any canned gift. http://www.marryyoume.com/2010/07/diy-cupcake-liner-crafts.html    You may want to add a little bit of glue around the rim of lid to hold the paper liner in place.

Tie on a tag with twine or ribbon.

There you are!  All dressed up and ready for giving (or keeping ).  Remember  corn and pumpkins are veggies.  Eat something fun.  Happy Fall.

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!
